Ian Gregory

Chairman of the Board

Mr Gregory holds a Bachelor of Business from Curtin University and has over 25 years experience in the provision of company secretarial and business administration services in a variety of industries, including exploration, mining, mineral processing, oil and gas, banking, insurance and aquaculture.

For 6 years prior to this Ian was the Company Secretary of the Iluka Resources Limited group of companies based in Perth. Iluka is the largest zircon producer in the world and the second largest producer of titanium minerals, with operating mines in Australia and the USA. Before joining Iluka, Ian worked for 12 years as Company Secretary and Compliance Manager of IBJ Australia Bank Limited, the Australian operations of The Industrial Bank of Japan, and prior to that he was Company Secretary, for 4 years, of the Griffin Coal Mining group of companies.

Ian has been the Chairman of the Western Australian Branch Council of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators and served on the National Council of that body.

 

Mr Chin Han Tan

Executive Director/Chief Financial Officer

Chin Han has over 30 years of experience in business management. Currently the General Manager/Director of Nam Bee Rubber and Tyre Group, with operations in Malaysia, Australia and the United States. Previously worked for stock broking firm Jacksons Ltd and accounting firm Deloitte specialising in audit and accounting.  Bachelor of Economics (majoring in Accounting and Economics) and Law (majoring in Corporate and Finance Law) from the University of Sydney.

Mr Donald Jones

Executive Director/ General Manager

Don has over 40 years of experience in construction and multi-sciences with expertise in Engineering and Architectural Design within the construction industry across South East Asia and Australia. Diploma in Structural Engineering from Ultimo College of Advanced Education (Sydney University) and an Advanced Certificate of Structural and Civil Engineering from Ultimo Technical College.

Professor Lindsay Brown

Non Executive Director

Dr Lindsay Brown, Professor of Biomedical Sciences at the University of Southern Queensland. His research area is development of functional foods to improve chronic disease outcomes in areas such as obesity, inflammatory bowel disease and osteoarthritis.

Associate Professor Kirsten Heimann

Advisor

Advance research on closed system and circular manufacturing approaches using high-yield microbes in environmental, aqua- and agricultural and commercial applications for developing sustainable industries and communities.

Dr Skye Thomas-Hall

Advisor

Skye has over 12 years of experience in large scale algae cultivation projects and over 20 years of experience as a microbiologist. Team leader for the Algae Biotechnology Group at UQ Expert in the production and processing of microalgae for extraction of nutraceuticals such as Omega-3 fatty acids. Previously designed, built and commissioned large scale algae production units for WinterShine Pty Ltd, Shimizu Corporation, Mohawk International Pty Ltd, Algae Pharm Pty Ltd, Solagron Co Ltd and others. Ph.D. in Molecular Biology and Microbiology and Bachelor of Science with honors from the University of New England.

Professor Peer Schenk

Algae Specialist – University of Queensland

Professor Schenk is the Head of both the Algae Biotechnology Group and the Plant-Microbe Interactions groug within the School of Agriculture and Food Sciences at the University of Queensland. Professor Schenk also holds a PhD in microbiology, botany and plant pathology from the Georg August University Göttingen, Germany.

Dr Evan Stephens

IIndustrial Biotechnology and Nutrition Specialist

Dr Evan Stephens has over 25 years experience in agribusiness value chains, intensive primary production systems and nutrition science (microbes, soils plants, animals and humans). He holds a PhD in molecular bioscience from the University of Queensland and has 15 years experience in biotechnology.

Mr Lee Rothwell

Irrigation and Agriculture Specialist

Lee has an agricultural / mechanical background, which has developed over time into a specialisation in the water and irrigation industry. Lee is a Certified Irrigation Designer, Certified Irrigation Landscaper and holds a Diploma in Applied Science majoring in agricultural irrigation.

Mr Jason Beattie

Control Systems Specialist

Jason is a Controls, Electronics and Precision Hardware specialist with a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from the University of Queensland.

Mr Cameron Low

Corporate Finance

Cameron is the Founder and Managing Director of Cadmon, a corporate advisory, venture capital and asset management firm. Cameron have had over 10 years experience in helping companies list on the ASX.
